Router - Onager has 5 x 1Gbps ports that are highly configurable. Use them to route between VLANs or aggregate Internet bandwidth. Onager is the perfect network router--it achieves a full 1Gbps from port1 to port2!
Firewall - VPN supports up to 50 clients (we haven’t tried more) and there's no cost for client software.
Load Balancing - Onager can take multiple connections to the internet and take advantage of their total aggregate throughput. It provides redundancy/failover.
Bandwidth Management - Administrators can establish rules that govern how much bandwidth is available to each user, or groups of users.
VoIP Enablement - QoS (Quality of Service) is an absolute must for VoIP and other UDP traffic. QoS rules allow you to prioritize voice and video, so calls don’t get distorted.
Onager is the perfect fit for your small and medium customers. Small customers appreciate the VPN and QoS for the reasonable cost. Medium customers can take advantage of the high speed ports and aggregate or load balance their DSL/T1 connections.
Onager runs on RouterOS, a stable operating system with years of implementations to its credit. RouterOS has features such as firewall rules, VPN Server with free client, bandwidth shaper, Quality of Service and wireless access point capabilities. The software also allows connections via FTP and telnet, and SSH shell access. RouterOS also supports OSPF, BGP, VPLS/MPLS. Onager is an amazingly powerful and flexible router!
